Terms & Conditions – Sikkim Darjeeling Family Package (4 Nights 5 Days)

General Terms

• This quotation is valid for 7 days only.
• All rates are in INR and are applicable to Indian citizens only.
• Photographs used in the quote are for representation only. Hotel room photos do not guarantee the same room; rooms are allotted by the hotel according to room type and availability.
• Package rates may change without prior notice if hotel or vehicle prices change.
• Please share your meal preference at the time of booking.
• Check-in and check-out times follow the hotel’s policy.
• SS Rana Tour and Travels reserves the right to change, modify or withdraw the offer at any time at its own discretion.
• On arrival, guests will receive the local contact number of our executive, who will handle the entire operation. Cab details are shared 2 hours before arrival.

ID Proof & Permits

• All passengers must carry a valid photo ID: Voter ID, Driving License or Passport.
• Aadhar Card and PAN Card are not accepted for Sikkim permits.
• For restricted areas (Tsomgo Lake, Nathula Pass, Baba Mandir, Lachung and Yumthang Valley), permits are issued by the Indian Army and the Government of Sikkim. Every traveller must provide 2 photocopies of a photo ID with address and 4 passport-size photos.
• If permits are not issued for Yumthang Valley or Gurudongmar Lake, no alternate sightseeing or refund will be provided.

Vehicle & Sightseeing

• Vehicles are on a point-to-point basis, not at disposal.
• Entry fees (parks, museums, monasteries) and parking fees are not included in the vehicle cost.
• Visits to places not mentioned in the itinerary will be charged extra.
• Extra sightseeing such as Rock Garden (Darjeeling), Kala Pathar (Lachen) and Zero Point/Katao is paid directly to the driver. SS Rana Tour and Travels does not bear this cost.
• If a tourist spot is closed, it will not be covered the next day. Visiting it later requires an extra vehicle payment.
• If Tsomgo Lake is closed (snowfall, landslide, etc.), alternate Gangtok local sightseeing will be provided. If Namchi is chosen as the alternative, extra cost applies for Innova/Xylo.
• If the direct route to a destination is closed, the alternate route will cost extra.
• Innova, Xylo and Scorpio fall under the same vehicle category. Due to ground clearance issues in hilly terrain, Xylo or Scorpio may be provided instead of Innova, with no price difference.
• A supplementary vehicle charge applies for hotels such as Summit Norling, Fortuna, Udaan Alpine, Mayfair, Club Mahindra, Taj Vivanta and Mansarovar.
• Vomiting inside the vehicle will attract a cleaning charge, payable directly at the nearest service station.
• Guests must follow the timings given by our executive for sightseeing and transfers.

Natural Calamities & Liability

• In case of natural calamities, heavy snowfall or road blocks, alternate sightseeing will be arranged where possible. Extra charges for route diversions must be paid by the guest.
• SS Rana Tour and Travels is not liable for health issues, traffic delays, or missed flights/trains.
• Guests must follow instructions from locals, drivers and the administration, and obey all local rules for monuments, traffic and prohibited substances. Any fine is the guest’s responsibility.
• The company is not responsible for any legal or criminal issues arising from a guest’s actions.

Payment Policy

• 50% advance is required to confirm the booking.
• The remaining 50% must be paid on the arrival date, before the tour starts.
• Full payment must be cleared as per the shared payment schedule. If payment is missed, the company may cancel or stop the tour for breach of payment terms.

Cancellation Policy

A minimum 10% service charge applies to every cancellation, regardless of the slab above.

Jurisdiction

All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Siliguri only.
